St Johns Eve in Lithuania

It has been waaayyy too long since I've posted photos! I now have an overwhelming number of images I'd like to share with you, but to start with here are a few more from Lithuania.

fire, water, and music

I took a walk through Vilnius last night, and came upon this amazing festival. In addition to all the fire and dancing (with fire), there were traditional songs being played. It was all hauntingly beautiful.

This little guy lived with his mother on the farm on which I worked, although they were not farmers. But they were both definitely part of the community.
