My photography teacher, Chris Rolinson, talks about using juxtaposition as a composition tool. I think the photographer of this picture did an excellent job utilizing the technique.
And, I suppose, when you're inserting an item into a scene, you have to be careful of what other elements might clash with it... something these advertisers didn't consider...
True, and it can be a powerful tool. I love photos like this, where it is such an easy target. Have you seen other example of juxtaposition that are so obvious?
This year I graduated with a bachelors in photojournalism (major) and Digital Media (minor) from Point Park University, in downtown Pittsburgh. I love taking and editing photographs, and I enjoy making multimedia presentations. My dream is to work as a museum curator. I'm not living in Lithuania, and am going to be doing some traveling around Europe in the next few months, so check back for lots more travel photos!
